Vladimir Kalikhman opened EURO-TECH over 20 years in 1997. Vladimir had always been interested in
vehicles and loved working on cars, and he earned his degree in mechanical engineering. But when he
moved to the United States from Ukraine, he spoke zero English and basically started from zero with a
small repair shop in Baltimore City. Through hard work and perseverance, that shop has grown to a
40,000 square-foot, multi-service automotive facility.
“My journey to owning a large automotive service facility has been challenging and rewarding. Every step along the way, I’ve considered how I can best serve Baltimore drivers, and my customers’ needs have truly shaped EURO-TECH into what is today.”
Today, EURO-TECH caters to every automotive need, including mechanical repairs, body work, auto paint, rental
vehicles, and used car sales. The shop continues to specialize in European auto repair, while expanding to expertly
service all import and domestic vehicles. Our technicians’ areas of expertise are engine repairs, timing issues,
diagnostics, electrical systems, and programming modules. For collision repairs, we now have a dedicated body
shop with a state-of-the-art paint booth and frame machine.
After all these years, Vladimir is still at the shop every day, bringing his 20+ years of automotive experience. He
along with Tess are Landmark Worldwide graduates. Vladimir is also a licensed Maryland State Inspector, and
he has taken collision estimator classes with ATI (Automotive Training Institute).
